Etienne Tardif
Director – Outliers Education
Etienne has over 20 years of experience in mining, continuous improvement, leadership development, training and change management. He has been in both technical (Governance, Engineering and Project Lead) and leadership (Front-line to Senior Manager) roles. He has been involved in two mine builds, ramp-ups, and 4 SAP implementations (PM, MM, FI/CO).
Etienne holds a B. Sc. in Mechanical Engineering and is the OMS LEAD Content Developer and Facilitator.

Geoff Brick
Technical & Leadership Lead
Geoff is a mining professional with over 33 years' experience in mining and consulting/engineering industries, spanning thermal/metallurgical coal, gold and copper commodities, in operations and corporate based roles.
His operations experience includes General Manager roles in Australia and North America, in metallurgical coal and copper, including Highland Valley Copper, Canada’s largest copper operation.
Geoff's passion is for leading and engaging work teams to bring about transformational performance improvement and the associated cultural change from the front line to senior management levels.

Kevin Weston
Content Facilitator & Field Coach
Kevin has over 35 years of operational experience - having spent time equally between Underground and Open Pit with extensive Plant operations exposure. He is an Operations, Engineering and Project Management professional having previously worked in senior operations management, engineering management, and contracting roles.
He has a B. Sc. in Mine Engineering from McGill University

He holds Bachelors’ degrees in Communications and Education from the University of Ottawa.

He is a Certified Professional Engineer registered in the province of B.C. Al has over 39 years of mining experience with 35 years in progressive management positions of metallurgical coal mines. Managed mines with annual budgets of over $350 million/year. He specializes in business transformation and mining optimization

Bert is a mining engineer with over 35 years of experience at mining operations in North & South America, Europe, Africa, and Australia. He has held roles through all levels of mining operations including supervisor, General Manager, Vice President, and COO.

Josh has 30-years of experience in business and system integrations with extensive experience in the resource, utilities and telecommunications sectors, including mine operations and business improvement at iron ore and coal mines sites. He has successfully led large multi-national M&A integrations, system alignments, and process redesign projects throughout Asia Pacific and by effectively employing psychology across all facets has advantageously reduced change resistance and reinforced behavioural change.
